Rustic | Boho | Cocktail
Here at the Hunted Yard we see some crazy and wild personalities, but Rosina, the bride, was absolutely fabulous. We were told to take full reign in orderto turn her picturesque family home backyard into an intimate cocktail wedding. We had the most amazing blank canvas to work with and couldn’t wait to get our hands dirty. We were in our element!
Jason is a hunter and it couldn’t have been a more perfect fit to be able to throw animal antlers into every nook we could. With that being said, cowhides weren’t going anywhere and were used sporadically throughout the venue also.
Oh Boy, did we have a blast with flowers. Rosina’s love of colour was definitely present throughout her venue. The bridal party’s bouquets were a culmination of Ranunculus, Lily of the Valley, ivy Berries, Southern Cross Proteas, Peonies and the good old Gum.
With their love of the outdoors and camping it was inevitable that their ceremony would be in nothing other than a custom built giant tipi. The tipi’s focal point was Jason’s favourite deer antlers festooned with blooms and vines. In order to create coherency throughout the space, one of our stylists hand crafted a large dreamcatcher used for their guest’s photo booth! Speaking of guests, they too got to experience tipi life as we built a tipi cabana for our guests to sit back and take it all in.
