We love a good surprise birthday- so when a husband contacts us to turn his beautiful Kurrajong private backyard into an intimate chill out brunch for her and her ladies we said- hell yeah!Jennah’s husband, Ben described her as exuberant, bold and adventurous. Her love of food and travel was our source of inspiration and from this we were able to start getting our creative juices flowing.

Everyone eats at dinner tables, so to mix it up we constructed a low floor table with scatter cushions, styled with amber beer bottles, ceramic charcoal plates and antique silverware to create a more intimate and relaxing atmosphere. Jennah’s garden was a perfect canvas, full of lush plants and scattered natives, an inspiring palette for our concept. Our team created a floral installation in the centre of the table with a combination of deep burgundy Gerbera, Roses, Snapdragons and our all-time favourite-the King Protea.
